EasyShroud Prefabricated Window Shrouds – Warranty Information
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies to EasyShroud prefabricated window shrouds purchased in Australia for residential or commercial use.
We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, subject to the exclusions below.
What is Covered
- Structural defects in the shroud material
- Manufacturing faults affecting fit or assembly
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Changes in appearance, including fading, staining or discolouration
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, neglect or modification
- Damage resulting from accidents, fire, flood or other external factors beyond our control
- Costs of removal, reinstallation, or transport of the product
How to Make a Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact us with:
- Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
- A description of the issue and supporting photographs
We may require you to return the product for inspection. Costs of returning the product to us are at your expense unless otherwise required by law.
Remedies
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, we will, at our option:
- Repair the product; or
- Replace the product; or
- Provide a refund.
